That's really not that much... Private engines that are pre-built can range from $800,000 to over $1,000,000... Sadly these engines you see only take about 3 years with about 5 guys working on them... Lol.SpiritWebb wrote:HOLY MOTHER OF ALL THAT IS HOLY! I will be sticking with Unity 3D...

Re: Dungeon Overlord
So... 1) There's instanced dungeon crawling... But instead of fighting monsters you uncover squares as if it was minesweeper. 2) There's a linear progression... I just want to say that this isn't bad at all... I'm working on an engine for tile based games (with ports to, SDL/Allegro (c++) and XNA (c#) and it's quite easy until you get in to extremely in-depth collision detection and the sort... Then it gets to be really painful to write.

Re: Aerrevan
I think I'm about to cry. I can tell this engine is amazing without even seeing it in action! Seven years of development should suffice for the awesomeness that is Aerrevan. I will be a long term supporter of this for sure!

Re: Trinity of ashes
Trinity of Ashes has a lot of potential!
It is making the game I'm developing look like crap!
Implementing AJAX scripts (from a design standpoint) is hard, I think. It looks like you did a really nice job.
I hope you find a really good Creative Writer and GL.
