Invalid Licence Key

Hi,

I finally got some time to go back to developing my game idea, so I’ve downloaded the latest version and copy and pasted my licence key in config/license.php. However, I still get invalid license before I even start installing. What have I missed? I'm working offline if that makes a difference.

Are you using WAMP? There seems to be some unknown issue with WAMP. Something to try is before running the installer, upload the core SQL file, configure your database settings and then when you do run the installer click Update and it should work.

I'm actually using linux so very similar, but will give this a try. Thanks

Another thing to look into is cache. Make sure your cache is cleared as it may be caching and incorrect key If you forgot to change it initially

Did as you said but Update didn't work, but re-install did. Thanks mate!

Make sure your code is pointing to nwe.funmayhem.com. You can check in the install.php file. If you are pointing to nw-engine.com (like it did prior to 1.1.9) it will not work.

It was a fresh install of 1.1.9 rather than an update.

Did you check in license.php to make sure your code is in there?
