last.fm

Post by Chris »

I don't know if anyone else uses last.fm, I used to use it way back about 3 years ago when it was free. I just signed up for a year subscription and it's one of the best things I've bought in ages. They've really improved it. It used to be that you would have gotten fed up with the same constant station but it's now really improved. Way better than constantly looking for new music to download and getting fed up listening to the same songs over and over. You simply just type in an artist you like and *SMACK CHOP BANG BAM CHOW!* (Flash player loads) The best music for hours to come, without hearing the same song twice.

Sounds pretty cool! Do they have any kind of trial or anything like that so you can use it before you pay for it?

As far as I know you're allowed to listen to 30 songs for free.

I used to listen to last.fm a few years back - I found some new music through their listing of similar bands to the one I was listening to.

Sucks that it's not free now. What's it cost per year?

€36 for a year, €3 per month. Probably about $5 a month then. The music selection has improved a lot since the few years back.
