Looking for a Artist.
Looking for a Artist.
Im am currently looking for someone interested in doing fantasy spell icons. Yes did the old google search, but came up with mostly icons that are created for personal use using already copyrighted art, or no way to get in contact with the creator. This will be a paid gig and the fee is negotiable. Must be able to show examples of your own original works, not remakes or edits of someone elses.

Good to see you are at a point where you would even need to be worrying about spell icons, Lunchbox! Things must be moving along briskly
Good luck!
EDIT: As far as something a bit more helpful, there are typically very few people capable of making commercial-quality 2D art on game dev forums (since most are coders or 3D artists). Have you tried browsing around Deviantart or Elfwood to see if you could find and get in contact with an appropriate artist? You may have to do some hunting for them, since they are not as well grouped as the more code/model-facing indies.

Re: Looking for a Artist.
Couldn't a 3D artist put together something, then render and save the image? In essence it now becomes 2d isometric in a way. Special effects in a 3d model program such as Blender, 3dsMax or Maya could, then render and save. Just a thought...
Re: Looking for a Artist.
Yes, I have been on Devianart, still looking though. I will check Elfwood though never knew about that one. As Spirit mentioned a 3d artist could probably come up with some, but it all depends on what kind of look you are going for and what you can do once you plug it into photoshop to give it that look. I originally went the 3d render route with JuxtaWorlds, the look just wasnt quiet right though. Could have probably used a bit more touching up in PS.

I am a competent digital artist, and my current profession involves developing the graphical and code (HTML, CSS and basic level of PHP) templates for browser-based games. Here is an example of my work. All three took about 12 minutes. I can provide more if necessary.
