And if you do go this route, watch at least 75% of the video series before ever writing a single line of code if you have never done much programming. You will understand it much better on a 2nd watch-through if you know where it is heading, and you will also know the functions and syntax much better from having seen the same patterns used over and over through the video series.

I'm taking a multimedia course at my school.
There I learn html and php ... so make a browser-game is not difficult. ;)

to make any game is not difficult. To make a good game is difficult.

You can also use Unity 3D, to do something similar...

But then again, we are starting to talk about 3D MMORPG development again. Didn't we already come to the conclusion that was a bad idea ;)

Andre, take a look at Torn City, an extremely popular browser-based RPG. Typically when we talk about browser-based RPGs, that is the kind of game we mean. It is also a good type of project to start with as a beginner, and it is also the type of game that the video tutorials show you how to make. These type of games are also very popular. Torn City has over a million players, even though it looks rather basic, and it makes over $50,000 a month in profit.
OMG...40,000 players online, $50k a month in profit and it is such a simple design...makes me wonder why I keep reaching for graphics. This is the way to make it happen, much like Urban Dead. Simple yet fun....

The people who are going to play your games don't really care about pretty graphics. Fluid UI matters more, pretty graphics just slows down their computer if they wanted pretty graphics (and had better computers) they'd be playing real MMOs :p

If I made 50k in a month I would drop a log right on the spot.
