Need some opinions

I am going to have missions for all players in the game, but I'm not sure how to go about it.

I want them to take time, but I know people don't like waiting on timers. As the missions grow harder however, they will need the players input.

So, should I add timers for like travelling to the destinaton, and time it takes for a mission to be completed, or try and find another way around it?

Decided to restart writing the game in Dreamweaver and adding some graphics, while learning how to implement php into the html code. Plus I'm attempting to learn Javascript! Go me for doing a lot at once! hehehehe

I am working on a non timer quest system for my own game and let me tell you its not very easy.

I remembered I had an old forum from about a year back that I made for a game I play. I have decided to strip it bare and start to add some new forums and posts. A quick note to anyone who won't go there for one reason or another, I am well on track on the development! I have had a few problems but managed to fix them and learning some new tricks! I am really motivated to make it and hopefully have it up and running one day. Im even neglecting my schoolwork, which I shouldnt do, but i'd much prefer make my own game

I think you've got a pretty cool idea.

Have you considered allowing players to be "the law" as well? That could make the game very interesting.
