3D Model - Mustang

Post by D3luxe »

Decided to start this project as a way to get myself into 3DS Max, since that's what my school uses and I just started up the program here. I've been using Maya for a while, so I had to kinda learn my way through 3DS Max, but I like it a looot better.

Here's after all my hard work from sunday till last night (roughly 12 hours of work). No post-processing has been done, just simple renders from 3DS Max.

If there are any views/angles/colors/etc you wanna see, just let me know and I'll render it out.

*NOTE*I'm not entirely sure why the rear window didn't render in this one, but ignore that for now..I'll replace it when I can fix the window.

And a couple with different paint renders..I like the pearlescent green one :]

Well I am absolutely horrible at modelling characters and soft-bodied stuff, so it looks like you've got me trumped there :P

Lmao, thanks Torniquet. I'm working on an old Volkswagen Scirocco at the moment (since practice makes perfect, ofc), but when I'm done I'll start working on the Evo 8

After finishing the Scirocco and possibly the Evo, I was thinking about going back and adding interiors into the cars and bringing them into GTA IV. I'd have to get ZModeler and learn the exact pipeline into the game, but it shouldn't be too hard.

Thanks! :)

Holy shit.

So I found a new renderer..which makes things look 129783129379812738917389x better.

Here's the first render, which didn't come out so hot, but still looks good...

And here's the second render which fucking blew me away.

All I can say is: wow.

EDIT: Another view..I now realize how badly modelled the back of the mustang is, lol. Ehhh
