I take it godaddy is a Linux based server then :s is there a way to use these or something similar on a windows based server? Ive seen something to do with CGI scripts when I googled it but nothing usefull there as usual.

godaddy has both windows and linux servers. I recommend linux unless you plan on having asp.net applications running. You will never see the difference just making a standard php game otehr than the linux seems to run better in my opinion.
Cros will work for windows servers as far as i know.

Kay, could you explain how to do crons without the interface too? my provider has the ability to use a linux server and crons so im switchin it to that just now, but it doesnt have tech support for it nor does it have any interface for it.hallsofvallhalla wrote:godaddy has both windows and linux servers. who is your host that doesnt have a cron interface? Let me look into them.
