Kickstarter Feedback
Kickstarter Feedback
Could everyone look at my Kickstarter and give me some feedback by either posting on the Kickstarter, posting here or sending me a PM? Basically looking for "Would you back this, why or why not", stuff like "I backed it because science, but the rewards were lame." or "I didn't back this because I don't know exactly why you need the money" kind of deal. Thanks to everyone that does

Re: Kickstarter Feedback
Who is the KS primarily aimed at? The scientific community or gamers?

I don't know if this being a draft is actually your project, but in my case (I never did but if I did) I would only back leisure games. I get your idea, and I hope you get funded but I wouldn't back your project for some reasons (just trying to help):
- The rewards are not ... how can I say, rewardable. What I mean (and I might be wrong about the reward system) is that sometimes in general games they offer backers some special stuff, that normal people (After the funding) can't get. That's probably the number one reason.
-Lack of media. Ok, let's say the rewards can't be that good as i mentioned, well then u sure better have a good media about your project. Actual in-game footage, a video, maybe a vidoe of yourself explaining the concept, the idea, why you doing it and so on.
Other than that I think it's all good. But hey, please note that my 2 reasons for not backing up this project are only valid if I was into backing a game that is not for "leisure". And also, I take this ideas from the projects I see on kickstarter when I'm bored, to learn what to do and what not to do, so that maybe in the future I'll be able to make a successful funding
Good Luck with your project.

Re: Kickstarter Feedback
@Jacko - I was thinking both....easier to appeal to the scientific community but there are more gamers.
@Vit - Yeah, I'm worried about the rewards, I really am not quite sure how to make them more appealing and what to offer. I will be including a video, though, that shows me talking about the game and running through a play-through of the game.
