Awesome stuff!
Although it is almost a year away (since the first one was just a couple of months ago), I am friends with the owner of the Chattanooga Film Festival if you have something you want to show around March or so of next year. I could put in a good word for 'ye

Absolutely...appreciate that. Our film will should be ready by end of year as the Little Rock Film Festival is in May next year and will have a press kit done, hopefully by then as well!
Its a horror, found footage style film...but does NOT revolve around ghosts! That has been overly done in the found footage style genre.

Sounds cool! I actually enjoy found footage horror provided the cam is not overly shaky and it is well acted

I will ask my friend and get back to you.SpiritWebb wrote:Sweet.

EDIT: Alright, I asked him, and will let you know once I hear something. As I was writing him though it hit me that it may just be too early for them to open up submissions yet. They just wrapped up the first annual film festival about 2 months ago, so it may just be a case of them not opening submissions yet for the second one (I think slated for next Feb or March).

Re: Filming
I figured as much, but wasn't sure as the Little Rock Film Festival has the submission requirements, length, submission dates, etc. And that's what I could not find.
Wanted to be sure what we were preparing for, for the LRFF would be the same or similar with the CFF.
2 DVDs:
1 - Region 0
1 - Region 1
And the press kit.
There is a little more to the list, but that's in a nut shell.

Hey, where are you guys at in production? Are you going to be premiering it in first quarter 2015, or are you going to be releasing before then?

Re: Filming
Doing all the filming in Arkansas. Starting in Conway, AR and ending around Heber Springs, AR. As far as how far in, or how long...we haven't started it yet. Auditions/Casting Call is this Saturday in Conway. Then will choose a date on when we will start filming. We are shooting have the whole thing filmed in a month or so. Want the entire process, filming, editing, etc to be done by end of Nov, 2014 to Jan, 2015.Jackolantern wrote:Hey, where are you guys at in production? Submissions for LRFF are between Dec 15th and March 1st. April 1st is for extended deadline submission (prior approval).
I know the rules for AR is it has to premier in Arkansas.
I think I answered your questions there. If I didn't, let me know.
