I just got another of those Job Offers (interview i guess) that are based on your GITHUB repos and stuff, but this one actually sounds right... It says the company, what they do, and what they want from me...

Here's the email:

Olá Vitor,

I noticed you have done some contributions on Github, so I´m getting in touch to find out whether you have a strong interest in PHP and the open-source community?

I recruit for a company called Rocket Internet, are you familiar with them? Rocket Internet is one of the worlds largest internet incubators, behind success-stories such as Wimdu and E-Darling. Their mission is to seek out and support the most promising opportunities in the online and mobile business space, providing help in concept, technology, team and capital.

By putting the right people in place they help new companies get off the ground. As you might have guessed, the entrepreneurial spirit is inspiring the entire company, from the headquarters in Berlin to their other offices across the world. The technical team in Berlin is now looking for a software developer with expert knowledge in PHP, ready for the next career step.

We´re looking for someone who is genuinely excited about new techniques and methodologies, agile principles and XP-programming, know their way around frameworks such as Zend, Symfony, CodeIgniter and any case they don´t, is not afraid to learn something new. To fit in you probably love dealing with scalability challenges and high-performance systems. As a sender of many form emails, this sounds like one. BUT. I'd say call them and tell them you're willing to do an interview (Skype or phone) and then, if your interview goes well and you'd actually want to work there, tell them you'll accept the position if they pay all of your moving cost and cost for you continue schooling (If you are actually interested in the job)

Yeah, a company can do pretty much anything if they're interested in you, it just depends on how interested they are
