Why Comcast sucks

Not only because of the net neutrality issue but I recently got their internet and they brag 50 meg service and I when I test i for the most part show it but good god this crap is real crap. They actually had SourceForge completely blocked! I had to call to put in a ticket so they would allow me to see it. I am finding other sites blocked as well and some sites the speed is completely throttled! Seems they are taking the law into their own hands and doing what they want. Every nigth around midnight the internet just quits working. Netflix goes out.

Chattanooga has 100meg+ now through the power company but I cannot get it in my area just yet.

i slowed down to 2 megs early. Right in the middle of a meeting where I was presenting. ugh

Oh sweet! We grabbed an Apartment and they made a deal with Comcast supposedly but who really knows. I am near Hamilton Place, the mall.

Ahh, damn, they don't service that area as far as I know (they are downtown, Red Bank and Hixson last I checked). Unfortunately, they are residential and there aren't enough residential complexes in that area for them to pull fiber, I think. EPB and Comcast have all of the businesses in lengthy contracts, so they can't really break into that area for now. Next time I see them I will ask them about it, though.

By the way, you wouldn't just happen to be in Hidden Creek apartments, are you?
