Minecraft...another topic

Post by hallsofvallhalla »

So me and my daughter played Minecraft for quite a few hours this weekend. What a blast we had. It would be fun with a few more players as well. I would like to setup a server and maybe get a weekly survival game or 3 going. Anyone interested?

You should give it a try jacko, it unleashes your creative side.. When i was a kid i loved to make buildings and floor designs and i find very entertaining building houses and castles and stuff in minecraft.

It truly is a blast. Especially with a group of people.

Completely fun. Just depends on what sort of style of server. They do have mods and what not that are server side as well. If you look into Bukkit. You can get lost in there, as you can go quite creative with both aspects, coding, and having fun in game.

Never heard of Bukkit. Very kewl. I have been looking for some fun mods for multiplayer but everyone always posts the same ones.

I used to host a public faction server. I stopped after a while, it was nothing more then a glorified babysitting job.

Bukkit is ridiculously extensive when it comes to mods.

I'd enjoy this, I actually suggested an Indie-Resource MC Server before.
