Mafia books

Post by Aerithcal »

Hey guys, I'm new here and I'm following halls PHP browser game tutorial.

My idea is to create a mafia browser game, and to get ideas to what it will have (because I want it the most realistic possible) I'm thinking about buying a book about mafia (non-fiction). I was searching on the internet some books and I got some "names" that maybe interest:
- Mc Mafia
- Cosa Nostra
- Five Families
- Mob Killer

And you're all thinking: wtv, why did he made a topic ? No one cares...

Well, I was hoping that someone would come here and post something like: Oh I read "uhgudg", It's great, give a look on it.

So, if one of you read a mafia book (nonfiction) and thought that it was great and realistic tell me please =P

If not, well I will pick a random one

I honestly have to say I have never read a mafia book. I usually choose books based on Amazon reviews, since almost every book has plenty. I usually try to look at 1-star reviews, though, to see if they are being fair ("The book shipped late, so I gave it 1-star" and crap like that).

I haven't read any either. I usually prefer to watch mafia movies :)

Here are a couple from Amazon that look interesting and are well reviewed, but I haven't read them personally:
