21 Jump Street

Wow, this is my first review and im glad it's for a wonderful movie!

Ok, without being a spoiler, this movie is not about action, its all about fun, when they do something you will laugh, and sometimes you will laugh your ass of, pardon me for language xD

This movie is like the Dictator (havent seen it, but friends told me it is freaking fun).

So i will just tell you to watch it, the movie is about 2 boys/men around 22 years old i dont know, that are "cops" but they are sended to highschool to prevent drugs selling.
Its a very cool movie and i think you should see it if you want to have a good time.

I have not seen it but it IRRITATES THE *&^& out of me that they would call this 21 jump st. It has nothing to do with the original. Why in the &*^% they would call it that I have no idea.

Will watch just to see but the original was a very big series in its day. Johnny Deps startum role.

I thought the same thing lol. I was thinking "Huh? Wasn't 21 Jump Street a drama series?" I think what Hollywood is doing is attaching popular older TV series to unrelated movie scripts in the hopes of getting more attention for it. They did the same thing with "Dark Shadows", the new Burton + Depp movie. The original TV series was a soap opera, and they made it into a weird, quasi-goth styled comedy. What?!

Well, if i may say, johny depp enters in this one, but in a secondary part, and you just see him in the end.
But really, this movie is just for fun, because it doesnt follow the normal movies things, and prepare for a lot of bad words XD , it makes the movie better in my opinion.

I never watched 21 jump street when it was on telli and it kinda doesnt matter cause the movie is just hilarious. It could have survived on its own merit if it had not have been called 21 jump street...

Yeah, it is a little baffling to me why they called it 21 Jump Street. It was a rather corny TV drama, even for the time, so I can't imagine it has a legion of fans who were rabidly awaiting the reboot movie.

Dark Shadows is a bit different, though, as it ran for many years in several different forms, and I know there is quite a bit of anger from its cult following about the Burton movie.

Wasn't one of the die hard movies actually it's own seperate idea, but then they stamped die hard on it instead?

Yeah, it's hijacking ideas for profit.

I never heard that before, but I can completely believe it! Although it is a much smaller series, Return of the Living Dead 3 was not actually written as a RotLD movie. I am sure there are plenty others, too!
