Back to game development

Post by hallsofvallhalla »

This has been the longest stretch in 6 years that I have not been developing some kind of game. I have been so busy with work, job hunting, house hunting, and a ton of other non game related stuff that I just not have had time.

The job hunt will pretty much be over today. I have made my decision. One company has taken too long to make an offer, I am turning down another offer and the current company I work for has offered me more money to stay. A good chunk. Now all i have left is finding a new house in the area which should not take that much time.

I NEED to get back to game development. I NEED to start a new game! Do not worry my tutorials will continue and at a much faster pace but I also will begin a new game. Not sure what or what with but I already began the Design Document.

So the tutorials will begin again along with me getting back here to post more ;)

Wish me luck in my new game venture :) and thanks for everyone's patience on the forums and tutorials.

Glad to hear about your return to game-making! I am super excited about Impact and node, so I am hoping maybe it will end up being something with that. But regardless, glad to hear basically everything in your personal life worked its way out. Starting at a new company can be nerve-wracking, so you have to definitely count staying at the same company part of the value, too! 8-)

It's good to hear that your itching to get back. This time you'll come back with huge motivation (more than usual!) and make something incredible yet again :) Can't wait to see the premise of it.
