PBBG Creator
Well i have signed up for one of those sites where people pledge money for you to complete something and if it is completed they get a copy and other things based on amount pledged. If the goal isn't met then no money changes hands. I haven't been accepted yet but the idea I pitched was a Browser Game Maker. One like we have all talked about for some time. The goal would be around $1000 and anyone pledging $5 or more would get a copy of the game. $10 or more would get video tutorials, $25 or more would get into beta for testing and feedback. $75 or more would get source and rights to demo game. With some of the projects on there and their amount they have received $1,000 is very modest and should not be hard to get to. I receive emails everyday asking for me to create a game for them or to point them towards a simple solution.
I do not see any reason why I could not complete this and having people pledge to the cause is a excellent way to get me to finish it up. Let me know your thoughts.

I have to be accepted first. Still waiting for an answer. They screen out allot of the stupid ideas or scams.
If anyone has the time to research the site and how it works then please do or if you have already had dealings. It sounds really kewl though and could be a great motivation piece.

How does getting a 'copy of the game' work, Halls? What would you be getting the source to?$75 or more would get source and rights to demo game.
I'm interested in the $10 option, at the moment, just as small encouragement

Re: PBBG Creator
I would totally support this - put me down for 75.00! (well I know once it starts I need to pledge and things)
Would it be the finished product of the MMO you already have started with your previous tuts or will this be a fresh new game?

not sure, not sure I have the time for this so that's why i would like to see what all people pledge to see how popular it might be.
The $75 option gets you source to the game creator. Without source you cannot modify the creator, You can still of course modify your game after the creator spits the code out.
