New To Game Design

Ive dabbled in web design/graphic design for years but never gone far with programming. I've been working on designing the concept for a browser game so I thought I would see what I can learn here. I was inspired after realizing how crappy some of the browser games I play were designed/functioned.

Anyways, hope to learn a lot from you all and contribute where I can.

Welcome! Programming can be a lot of fun if you take to it. However, designers can go far in indie teams, too. If you are skilled in design, you could even play the role of team leader/lead game designer, considering how hard it can be to come across good artists. Not to downplay on any of the artists we have here, because we have some skilled people, but if programmers are sausage and artists are non-sausage, we are definitely the definition of a sausage-fest over here lol.
