Amazingly, yes. I would have figured his career would have been ended by the House of the Dead movie, which is one of the worst movies ever made that wasn't made to be a joke. I think he made a deal with the devil, but forgot to actually ask for skill.hallsofvallhalla wrote:wow, and they still give him work?

I'm not sure the devil wants to have his name anywhere near that one either lolJackolantern wrote: I think he made a deal with the devil, but forgot to actually ask for skill.

I went to go see it because it was a show i used to watch when i was a kid.
I was sorely disappointed in it, didn't follow along with the series very well at all

Really liked the series when I was younger. Went to see the film in the summer in 3D. Was a big let down. Acting was like cow pat. Effects were alright, but I felt they could have been better. Simply wasn't as awesome as the cartoons. I generally expect a film to completely blow the cartoon series away it's based on.

Since this was resurrected, I may as well add now that The Last Airbender and Twilight: Eclipse have tied for the most Razzie nominations ("awards" for the worst movies of the year) this year. I believe Airbender is up for worst picture.

The Twighlight movies were terrible. I watched the second one the other day and was horrific. Some of the worst acting I have seen in ages and that girl always breathing out in every scene. WTF. The story really made no sense either.

Twilight New Moon = an hour and a half of shirtless Native Americans running around in the rain. I will admit that I had seen the first one, and while it wasn't great, it was nothing like the second. My wife and I were watching the second one and stopped it after about 30 minutes. No more Twilight for me, ever again.hallsofvallhalla wrote:The Twighlight movies were terrible. yeah kinda gross seeing how that kid was 16 during the filming. I mean it would be gross to me even if he was 30 but 16 only makes it worse.
Re: The Last Airbender
I personally hate most of these comic book or anime or cartoons gone movies. Take Aeon Flux for example - I had high hopes. Alas it was horrible. When are these hollywood jerkoffs gunna learn that people want it to actually be like what they are based on? The Dragon Ball movie? I mean come on. GI Joe? Ugh.
There's a few cases where the movies were decent - Fantastic Four, the Hulk (the one with Edward Norton), Transformers, the first Tomb Raider, and the Resident Evil series was good even though it didn't follow what happened in the games exactly. Still, I get upset when something happens that feels out of place, being that I was a fan of the respective game, anime, or comic the movie was based on.
Assuming someone decides to make a live action version at some point, I really hope Ghost in the Shell doesn't bomb horribly. I love that movie so much that if they screw it up I... I don't even know. I will probably just rant on the internet.
Anyway, you guys are right though. Someone needs to slap Shamalamamamama whatever.
