A mate of mine has had one of these for quite a while now, and I find it quite slow compared to an iPhone. It's even slower than the iPhone 3G. Does have a nice big screen, but I think it's just down to the fact that Windows never makes good OS's. They're always too bulky and come with a load of stuff no one ever uses. If you could get the iPhone OS on there it would be perfect.

not sure your definition of quite a while so we might be talking about a different phone, they have only been out for a few months. Mine runs just fine, haven't had a single slow down issue...yet..:) tried a couple games and they did real well but like I said I have only had it for a few days.

Nope, new OS is to be released this Holiday, probably October. That phone is running old crappy WinMo 6.5 and will NOT be able to upgrade to Win Phone 7 either.

There is only a few prototype devices available with Win Phone 7 yet, given out only to selected people.

The only thing making the HTC HD2 good is the overkill CPU and HTC's own great UI. Nothing to do with WinMo 6.5 :P

Never said it was a bad phone. It is the best phone ever made with WinMo 6.5, and it almost even makes WinMo 6.5 look good ;)

omg the MS Mobile developer registration is a joke.

$99 a year, have to pass all kinds of certs, blah blah blah. They do not make it easy. Guess thats a good thing in a way. Don't want everyone and their brother throwing apps out there.

Anyone else working on cell apps? Was thinking of building a Windows mobile app. Some good "engines" out there and the market place has few games.
