The Last Airbender
The Last Airbender
It started slow. It kept slow. Then it started to pick up and abruptly ended. I was never a gigantic fan of what had come before this release on the subject, but I know this could have been better. I wasn't not a fan I just never read/saw any of it. It followed suit with Eragon for the ending all of a sudden. If you saw that you'll know what I mean if you see this. There is one scene in it I want to mention for those who look for stuff that makes you wonder how noone caught it when it was being edited. I'll be very vague...MINOR VAGUE SPOILER nonetheless coming tho: Later in the movie when they get to a place they set a goal of going and start walking into a formal greeting don't look at the characters walking in. Look at the backs of the heads of the greeters. You're sure to see something that is unmistakably obvious and surely can't be intended. It got me laughing tho.

I have never seen any of the Avatar show, but the sheer fact that M. Night Shamalamadingdong directed this means I won't be seeing it, ever. I consider him to be one of the worst directors working in Hollywood today, really only topped by Uwe Bol.

Not seen that many movies from that director so I can't judge him, but I saw the sixth sense, and I liked that movie. Sure, could have been better, but that goes for allot of Hollywood movies.

I second this. He is by far the worse. If i owned some sort of product and Hollywood came to me said here's 50 million, now M Night. S. is going to direct it I would tell them give me 25 million, let Clint Eastwood direct it and kick M Night S. in the jimmy for me.Jackolantern wrote:I have never seen any of the Avatar show, but the sheer fact that M. No one can quite figure out what happened with the Sixth Sense, because it is very different from everything else he has done. My theory was that he was aware enough to know that he is a terrible director (see "The Happening" if any more proof is needed) and just blatantly did something that was not "his", modeling it after a bunch of popular movies.MAruz wrote:Not seen that many movies from that director so I can't judge him, but I saw the sixth sense, and I liked that movie. The only one I liked was Unbreakable.

Unless the squirrel's name is Uwe Bol. For kicks I averaged his movie ratings on IMDB that he directed, and it was 3.3/10!Rastan wrote: Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and again.
