Re: Img id/Div
okay so I am not liking the real time movement. I love the real time update but do not like the pixel by pixel movement. I think I may integrate a grid system like before except much larger and add in in the real time update. It slows the game down a bit but keeps it moving.
Re: Img id/Div
i dont see why it wouldnt work providing you declair that the divs are contained inside the relative div.
but if u say its not i wont argue :p i dnt know how proper ajax works this stuff lol

Halls, did you ever check out gameQuery? They released a version a few days ago that includes a fully-functioning tile engine. While I have not looked at it myself, jQuery has wonderful AJAX support so I am sure that you could make online games with it. Some of the demos are very impressive.hallsofvallhalla wrote:well i am not wise enough to tell you why it didn't workcould have been my screw up. Works now though!

Re: Img id/Div
well i have learned the old fashion way. So technically it would put me behind having to relearn javascript all over again by learning jquery. I have heard tons of good stuff about it but I seem to be doing pretty good without it. Why add mud tires to your truck if you live in the city?
Re: Img id/Div
It wouldn't be all over again, it would just be cutting out all of how it actually works and just saying do it.
Gamequery looks interesting, but at .5 I don't think I would use it for my team's site just yet.
