Hi guys,
My name is Ryan and I am 14 years old. I know I seem a bit young for web editing and programming, but I have always been inspired and moved by business models and their websites, and by technology as well! Anyway, I live in Chicago, Illinois and am interested in learning how to create my own online games. I stumbled upon this forum a few days ago when watching hallsofvalhalla's MMORPG Tutorial Videos on YouTube. This looks like a very promising place and I hope to learn a lot from the people in this community.

Re: Hello
Welcome! 14 definitely isn't young to get into software development. I started out programming text-based RPGs on the Apple IIe when I was 12 (shows you how old I am lol, although they were quite a bit outdated when I was using it), and by the time I was 14, they were getting quite a bit more advanced. So a 14 year old can definitely program!

lol I started working in visual basic when I was 11 years old and now I'm 14 but I have stopped working in visual basic and am interested more in web developement, php, JavaScript, and java. When I go to highschool (after summer) I'm taking class for learning java and visual basic which I'm really excited for!Jackolantern wrote:Welcome! 14 definitely isn't young to get into software development.
