Why do I suck?

I don't get it. I've pretty much got the basics of using Eclipse, I vaguely know how to use Wings3d, and I've successfully put a 3d model into Eclipse.
Yet I still feel like I'm missing something that I need to know before I actually start making a game.

What am I missing and why can't I do anything right?

You probably don't get what your doing because your trying to make an MMO without ANY game development background. You should try starting with a smaller game then working your way up.

Ok, what would you suggest making first? A new arcade hit? An RPG?

I dunno just make a simple text RPG or something. Or maybe make a simple 2d game of pong.

No do not make a hit arcade game, the sooner you realize your first game will suck the better off you are. Start small and dont expect too much.

Why do you ask so many questions?

Make whatever you want, just something simple. My first game was a modded version of the Catch the Ball game included in Game Maker. And if you read some tutorials you'll figure it out in no time.
