I am just curious where'd you guys come up with your usernames?
Mine is just a random made up one with no significant meaning

Mine I have used for a long time...in chat rooms I go by Wandering Spirit. (Avid ghost hunter) so I when I joined Second Life, Wandering wouldn't have been a very good first name, and they had Webb as a last name, so Spirit Webb sounded good, and thats where my name comes from.

I use it for everything. When signing up for different forums, or what not...I am also using it as an assumed name for the book I am writing in my extra spare time, called "Mythuto!"

the two ll's in my name came from back in 93' when I chose this name I made a yahoo email account. Someone already had hallsofvalhalla so i added an extra l, been that way ever since

Mine was a randomly generated name for an old Everquest character. I liked that name so I began using it as my online name.

If that's taken I'll usually use one of the following:
Sakarr
Radyth
Rahik
Garlock

Mine was a character name that I had for City Of Heroes, that character was based off of the band 'Disturbed', they had an animation of some weird looking fallen hero. But fallen hero was taken, thus birthed Last Known Hero

Not much thought went in to mine lol. I have several different usernames that I use, but I wanted a new one. It was Halloween, and my fiancee had carved a jack-o-lantern earlier that day and it was the first thing that stuck in my head

My nick I use for IRC is SgtFlame, which is the name I've used for Tribes 2 and City of Heroes.

Well, I'm old... and my nickname is Rod, so... it was a slam dunk

Actually the name stems from when I was in high school (yes we had high schools back then) and my band director promoted me to student director. As part of that position, I was also put in charge of doing the announcing during the band's half-time show at football games. He was urging me to really get into the part and try to get the crowd excited. He wanted me to do something like "Hey everyone, this is ol' Rod here..." and the name kinda stuck
