I like it, but there seems to be something wrong with the planets, maybe the scale, but apart from that its very cool!

Thanks...rockinliam wrote:I like it, but there seems to be something wrong with the planets, maybe the scale, but apart from that its very cool!
As far as the scale, thats one of the hardest things to accomplish, at least in my eyes when it comes to space. The question I asked was, "what should the planet/ship ratio be? Meaning if I put a ship in, how big should that planet look." That part is confusing...but its getting better...

As far as the ratio goes, it should seem huge. I read a study for science class and when people see the moon near the horizon or anything ON Earth people tend to say that it looks small, but when they took the test of seeing how big it was in the sky it looked massive. They say that our eyes don't have the capability to portray how big it ACTUALLY is.. don't remember the whole thing but basically thats it.

So should the planets be scaled up even more? Right now its scale is 3. If so, how far up should I go? 4, 5, 6...Last Known Hero wrote:As far as the ratio goes, it should seem huge. My 2cp for whatever it's worth... the video is a bit dark, but yeah, I agree with the others - I think the planets are too small in relation to the ships.
They look great, it's just a matter of proportion.

I think you should try 5, if you feel that it is too big adjust it to what you like

I will try 5. I just want this too look the best you know!! Look right...and everyone here is the best place to rate/help with what needs to be adjusted to look right!!Last Known Hero wrote:I think you should try 5, if you feel that it is too big adjust it to what you like
On another note:
The starting location for everyone will be on their homeworld when you first create your character. After you create your character and then click "start," you will be standing on your homeworld with instructions to attend the Space Flight School where you will learn all you need to learn to advance in the game...(thats what I have been thinking about anyway...)
