No need to make one you already have it!
Just use the same png as the hallsofvallhalla avatar.
Place the following line in the <head> tag of your index.php (replace URL_TO_PNG with path to the png)

Very true! I didn't think it would work at such a small size, but it actually looks pretty nice. I made a multi-res (64, 32, 16) .ico that can be found here. Hopefully Halls will see this and perhaps use it! I don't have access to change it.

I think if you use a png it will scale to whatever the browser wants.
But that may just be Firefox...

I know older versions of IE won't. In fact, older IEs before IE 10 won't accept PNG favicons at all

MediaFire pumps the ads, but they are not typically too shady. I just wanted somewhere to throw it up to quickly.

While you are updating the site would be great if you put a favicon in place
