While I am new to this board I do know a few people here from other boards. I will say Halls that I like your bot trap on the signup email. If only more forums did that. I have been browsing through this forum for about two weeks now and much of the info has been very useful. With that said I signed up. Better to share what has been learned than be a hermit.

Yeah that simple bot trap has stopped 99.99% of them.

Welcome! Yep, that simple bot trap has stopped pretty much all of the automated sign-up bots. A few get through but we have guessed they are probably relying on humans to sign them in. But at that pace they aren't a huge issue versus auto sign-up bots as you can imagine
