Anyone ever used MarionetteJS?

So I work for a software consulting company, and I have been informed I am being taken off my current project where I have been for over a year where we worked with AngularJS and Web API to move to another project where they use Backbone MarionetteJS. Does anyone have any experience with it? It seems to be a pretty obscure framework now after having a very short time of popularity back around 2012 - 2013 before Angular pretty much took over.
I seem to quickly be turning into a front-end Javascript developer in my company. Not that I am too upset about that since we have very few JS devs but I also am hoping to get into doing mobile development.
