so a recent topic from JackO just reminded me of it with Googles new ventures in their pipeline and this one sort of hits close to home. Google is teaming up with Novartis/Alcon which is where my girlfriend works to create some contacts to help monitor glucose levels for people with diabetes which I think is a pretty cool idea. With the number of population here in the states that are obese diabetes is pretty much the next step for people unfortunately and the number of people I know, family and friends with diabetes hopefully this will help them for a long time to come.
