This one is pretty short, but I have to say I love it. What are the 3 virtues of a great programmer? Laziness, Impatience and Hubris.
I dont get this oneHubris: The quality that makes you write (and maintain) programs that other people won't want to say bad things about.
It means that programmers don't want other people to say nasty things about their code. The idea is that it makes programmers strive to be better and better, just so that people won't say our code sucks lolvitinho444 wrote:I dont get this oneHubris: The quality that makes you write (and maintain) programs that other people won't want to say bad things about.

Ohh I get it now, well it's true... It's like me driving, I don't like people to ride with me and tell me if I'm doing right or wrong, thats annoying, its my CODE, my DRIVING, deal with it. Although this kind of critics help you get better just to shut them up, at least thats my main motivation.Jackolantern wrote:It means that programmers don't want other people to say nasty things about their code.
