Honestly, this looks better than what "next gen" is currently defined as. I don't think XBox 360 can handle some of those scenes. Verdict is still out on the PS3 until Final Fantasy XIII comes out and we can see what 4 CPUs of the Cell Processor can do.
I am sure that is some kind of monster computer they are running that on, likely with $10,000+ of hardware on it. It is interesting to see a tool that may be viable for the next round of systems, though.
