RPG Game- Brainstorming

Post by towcar »

For Starters: Game Maker is fun, yeah I said it :P

Explanation: Instead of recruiting a team of 10 yr olds to give me ideas, I figured. Why not Just exploit this community into helping me out.

Fact: I'm young, don't expect my game "Created" to be my only project, this is the other one.

Idea for the Game: For the last 5 years or so, millions of people cried into the street wanting a new stick rpg. First I messed around in game maker, and I started re-making the game. I was like Wow! So I decided to make CITY RPG (Name to be revised)

Question:
In stick rpg there was lots to do, I want there to be much, much more. So Any Idea, Anyone Has Throw in. Pretend I have unlimited engine use and game maker is not a barrier of options.

Graphics Example...
I am Stealing Pokemon Graphics,Editing to be more basic and less shade based.

we love being exploited! GameMaker is a very kewl engine to use to make a game.
There is nothing wrong with it. I still play the old 2d RPGs I love em!

One of the funnest RPGs I played was Final Fantasy 3(I think). You got a Airship and could fly around and as the game progressed you built on to your airship. You would add weapon dealers, healing areas, ect.. Its fun to start off with something small and slowly build it up as the game progresses.

I also love epic stories.

Haha I agree, best thing about gamemaker is it's almost if your still getting new games on old systems. Which I love to play!

Though you still never answered the comment stated "Question" :P

Oh lol, well kinda helps if you've played stick rpg, but I'm just looking for ideas on things I can put in my game, that way its easier to organise things.
