Hey guys,

I've been meaning to make a website up with my portfolio, and possibly some free models. I was wondering if there were any programs out there (like webdwarf) that allow me to make my website on the program then easily input it into a host/domain. (I've never had a website before so... :S) Also I don't want to HAVE to go with the programs servers, I would like to be able to choose my own host. Thanks guys.

Well Visual Web Developer 2008 Express (whew) is a good free program for making websites that includes a visual editor, but it's not exactly the simplest thing to get working at fast speeds on a webhost, and the webhost must support ASP.Net otherwise it won't work.

You could always get a template from a place like http://www.freecsstemplates.org/ and just modify it to include your stuff, then upload it to the webhost and you're done!
