Every few months or so Derek Banas starts a new Android app contest where he gives away Samsung Galaxy phones, tablets, watches, and so on. He announced the winners of this most recent contest today, winner got a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and a Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch. He is currently taking suggestions for what the next contest should be about (I suggested HTML5 browser games).

That is pretty cool! Contests and promotions like this are definitely another upside of mobile development.
