While looking up Go, I stumbled upon another language I have never heard of, it's called "D":

Yep, it is the *unofficial* child of C. It came out, and like the vast majority of programming languages, few cared. Which in this case is actually kind of sad, because it is actually a pretty cool little language.

The funny part is the name, it's called "D" because it's considered the evolution of next step above C++

Yep, it is following along in the tradition! C was named because it was an evolutionary step from B, which itself stood for "Bell", as in "Bell Labs", where it was created

I created that composite supergirl image with pseudo-JavaScript (professor created his own condensed version of JS for the class) in a fun little intro CS101 course I'm taking right now from Stanford, it's basic, but has been fun. Actually, I will show you the supergirl before and after here in this thread.
