What's up people ?

So, for the ones that are developers (99% if not 100% of us) I bet you felt that hype when "starting" a new project, right? In the beginning everything goes smooth am i right? Well that's the phase I'm going through now, with my latest game corrupted, i decided to revamp it and make it even better than it was. (after some good feedback) So yeah, I'm hype for this game, I think this is The Game! My biggest creation (so I hope).

So what I really need now, is a tool to sketch maps. I have no problem in the good old pencil and paper, but sometimes I have my 13'' notebook and I would like to sketch some maps for my game(s). What I'm looking for is something like a grid-based paint program, that can be used to sketch (not create) maps and game levels.

Anyone knows anything that fits the description ?

Thank you. It is a Unity3D game, I'm planning to export to Web Browser/PC and Mac.

Do you mean a program to just make free-form sketches, or an actual map maker?

I wanted the first one, just sketch out the maps like do the outlines, then some circles or something to place some props etc.
