Wow there are some pretty bad sequels out there but this one is really BAD! Boring, confusing, and just blah!

Yeah, I had basically no hopes for this one. I loved the first 300, but knew that it was a dead-end sequel wise. But they did one anyway.

The kinda of left it like they might do a 3rd. However I think its poor reception by critics might put an end to it.

Was Frank Miller even involved with the sequel? I know that he originally declined to be involved with a Sin City 2, because he "had used up all his best stories on the first one" lol. So I am figuring he wouldn't have had anything to do with that piece of crap 300 sequel.

I am not sure. I wish Michael Bay would take that stance on Transformers. Man that guy needs to quit.

I know this is an older comment here, but I just wanted to say I love when that happens. A terrible movie's production is so sure that audiences are idiots and will lap-up whatever garbage they throw out that a sequel or even a trilogy is already a given. Sometimes they even have the wherewithal to announce that it will be a trilogy before the first movie is even released, as was the case with "Jumper" (2007). Just read this from the wikipedia section titled "Sequel" (added emphasis):

And that is because even though the movie made some cash, it was blasted by critics and viewers alike for being shallow and pointless with highly unlikable characters.

I actually liked Jumper

I hated that movie lol

Don't get me wrong. It is nothing I would write to my grandma about but it to me it wasn't horrible. i think since I travel so much the idea appealed to me

You should watch the 80's David Cronenberg remake of The Fly if you haven't seen it. That is considered one of the best sci-fi/body horror movies ever made. The "insect politics" scene is a classic. No idea what that really has to do with anything, but the idea of teleportation being appealing for travel made me think about it lol.
