Is there another way to edit menu links instead of editing every single module 1 by 1?

What do you want? Change the texts in the menu? Then for SURE don't edit the modules, but use the text editor found as one of the last option on the left menu if you log in as admin, after enabling it, you will see small pens icons a bit everywhere, click on the pen icon near the text you want to change, and provide the new text you want to have in place. Done.

Through the Language editor in the admin panel, I believe that most if not all menu text is listed there.

Then you may need to write your own inside_menu module as replacement of the existing one. The current one doesn't give you much option to add links or re-orginize without touching the modules themselves. Also, think that if you modify any module and then you update them, you will loose your changes.
