"Built by programmers, for programmers"

I am getting really sick of hearing this line, and it seems to be popping-up more often. Excuse me, but isn't every programming tool made BY programmers, FOR programmers? I mean, those tools weren't made by 5-star chefs, attorneys, traffic cops, painters, or rappers. They were all made by programmers. And yes, they are also for programmers.
