Home Theater

Post by hallsofvallhalla »

SO I just bought a 3d projector and now have a 200" screen with active shutter 3d... WOW it is awesome!

The TV next to it is a 55" just for size comparison. I have full surround sound. It is better than being at the theater!

Wow, that is nice! Is the picture quality good on projection? Even though I don't really have an optimal spot for it, I have never considered it for worries it would be blurry.

Me too, and sometimes in the corners it gets "darker" like some kind of image effect. Why not just buy a 200' LCD ? There goes my 15k$

Nice! My dad got an older projector and loved it. His big tv got hit by lightning, so now he's just gonna invest in a new projector and mount it along with satellite and the ps4. Projectors are amazing :D

I personally have a small flat LCD TV and that's more than enough ;)

Yeah for sure. Most projectors can get 720p and many can get 1080p. My dad's is from 2000 and his has almost TV-like quality.

Wow, never thought it would have such good quality... I'm kinda used to the ones they have in schools so maybe those are not made for quality :P

That picture is actually really dim compared to what it really does, we hung two bright white shower curtains and it is as bright as my LCD TV. I was playing grand theft auto 5 in the daylight with no issue. We are waiting on the rest of our 3d glasses though. Had to get active shutter ones.
