So I realized I am absolutely horrible on modelling characters. Literally, I can't model them to save my life. So, I got a tutorial from DigitalTutors on creating a cartoon character (which I know isn't the BEST way to get into character modelling, but w/e), so I've been going through that. 7.5 hours long, currently about 2hours into it. Just been working on the face so far...Damn this type of modelling is hard! Here's the progress so far:

It's looking great so far Lux. One thing I have done with my character models is pretty much have a base mesh for all of them. I have a base male, base female, base bust, base dog, etc. Then if you are asked to create something or create something yourself you have the easy task of possibly re topogizing instead of recreating a whole mesh.

looks quite good to me so far. I am the worst at character modeling....trust me.
