Picked it up today and been playing it some. Not what I expected so far. Seems to be BF3 with extras. Its fun, much better than COD but not sure worth all the hype. Of course I have not been playing it long either. Xbox gamer tag is the games guild

I played the Beta, i liked but i wouldn't buy it, like you say its BF3 with extras, that's true, but if i have to choose one? BF4 for sure... CoD is dead to me, and to everyone that still has some brain and eyes to see what activision is doing with the franchise

I agree with CoD, for me the best will still be the first one I played: modern warfare1. As for the BF4 I'm really considering on getting it, I just played bf3 once and really liked it, so i'm expecting good things about bf4.

Halls did you played it on PC or on ps3? I heard that current gen consoles just get 32 players max, instead of 64 on the next gen and pc.

If you liked BF3, then BF4 is for you.
I think Battlefield is the closest thing to joining the army

Dont get me wrong, its fun. Just not as explosive as I expected. I play it on xbox360.

Welp already some pretty serious bugs. 2 maps lock up when loading. Ugh

If you want a realistic military game, try out Arma 2: Operation arrowhead. There is Arma 3 out now as well, but I haven't been able to try it yet. Arma 2 though is very fun and my favorite game. The map editor is one of the best things I've seen in a game.

Is it BF4 that has been blowing up anyone who has ever watched a gaming video's ad content on YouTube with all of those "real" videos of people talking about their favorite moments from the game? I honestly can't remember now if it was BF4 or some kind of MW game. If so, I thought some of them did sound pretty cool, but also was left wondering if these "unscripted moments" the players were talking about obviously were scripted since the company seemed very aware of them lol.

Yep thats BF4 and they recorded the screens as they played them then had them tell stories of their favorite moments. I had one too.

Was like my second time playing, was doing terrible, was mad, I ran into a whole group of the enemy with my pistol and just started killing them one by one, was awesome, then one of the enemy was way down below us with a sniper rifle trying t pick me off to end my rampage, I swung around and sniped him with my pistol...was epic...i proceeded to do terrible after that.
