This has taken awhile and has been killing me to try to contain my excitement, but finally can shed some news.
The website, Atavism Online has officially gone live.
Atavism is a MMO/RPG server engine for Unity3D. Unlike most if not all others, this is a true MMO system and not multiple multiplayer environments wrapped in a MMO shell. We are also designing it, to minimize the amount of programming and server knowledge required, thus avoiding the need to learn another engine. Creating a MMO can be done entirely through the Unity3D developer.
Beta is expected for November.
And should have some more news in the next set of days or week.

Very nice!
Re: Atavism Online (MMO Server for Unity3D)
Thanks all!
And the latest news is we have integrated the UMA (Unity Multipurpose Avatar) package into the system. The video is in the game environment, but the UMA can be configured to do more, such as cartoony looking people (big heads, small bodies, etc). So morphing, coloring and resizing is all possible and this uses less resources than applying with multiple meshes for different sizes and profiles; such as tall, medium, short; slim, athletic, average, overweight, muscular).
And no need to build/buy models and then rigging, etc... unless you want a different race.

This is a video of showing how to integrate Unity's Bootcamp into the Atavism Server and of networking with other players.
Sorry, no combat or anything fancy...
