Hello indie-resource,
I have been interested in gaming and the way games are made for a while but have never had any skills in Graphics or Programming which is why you will now be surprised to find out I am currently working on a game with a friend. I am writing the storyline and the dialogue.

I hope to learn a few programming languages and be able to create my own games from scratch one day.

I am quite low on confidence but at the same time can act really cocky... (Joking around)
I also am really socially awkward but I have a passion for gaming and writing.

I am 18 years old if that interests anyone

Welcome! Writing is definitely a needed skill in games, but you will definitely have more freedom in game development if you learn some coding. And this is a great place to learn the basics of coding

Hopefully there are people who need writers for their games...

I have a really good feeling about the game we are creating currently.

There are usually people around here who need writers, but I would suggest to just focus all your attention on the current game. When it comes to RPGs, there is never enough content. You could write 100 multi-step quests, but there could still be 100 more added lol.

Down the line (hopefully in about 6 months) I will need writers/builders for the MUD I am working on.

Its my first time... anyone have any tips?

Writing is a blast. I am currently writing the Pen and Paper version of one of my games to build content and a history for it so have been writing quite a bit.

My main tip is to not try to write like everyone else. Write what you feel and see in your head.
