Science Fair Project?

Hey all. I'm going to be making a science fair project under the topic "Computer Science". I was thinking of doing a Genetics Simulator, but none of the common traits (Hair color, eye color, etc.) are Mendelian, which means they have complex formulas and are hard to predict and my teacher advised me to do only Mendelian traits, which are fine, but not as "cool". I really wanna go far in this. So my question, any help? Its best if it relates to Biology in some way, but doesnt have to 100%.

The best Mendel traits in humans and the easiest to predict are diseases and disorders. These include Hunter's Syndrome (X-linked), Haemophilia (which can be traced through the British royal family for generations), Sickle-Cell, Huntington Disease (one of the worst genetic diseases since it is the only dominant terminal allele that is likely to be passed on to children, since symptoms do not start showing until mid-life. Other terminal alleles typically claim the patient before sexual maturity), Tay-Sachs, Cystic Fibrosis, and others.

Yeah, which s kinda why It turned me off, because it wouldn't be a "big thing" to most people.

i was thinking about doing something like a "Ecosystem Success Predictor". You have a bunch of options to fill out, things like "Number of predators", "Square miles of ecosystem", "Number of natural resources valuable to humans", etc. and it predicts how successful the ecosystem would be on a % scale.
