So I upgraded to windows 8 today and tried to install WAMP, but it doesnt install
Anyone else having any trouble with installing WAMP on windows 8?

Also which are some good IDE's for PHP/Javascript programming on windows 8?

Not I , I am not a fan of windows 8 so I refuse to use.

Get XAMPP. It is the superior WAMP (I hate that WAMP used that name, as it is a CS term, not a proper name) development package. I have had problems on and off with WAMP for years, and finally got sick of it and have never had an issue with XAMPP. I don't think it is Windows 8, though, because I have installed it on Windows 8 with no problem before.
