Quick question: You say DCIII is very old. Do you know if it runs well on DirectX-powered Windows (Windows Vista, 7, 8)? Campaign Cartographer 3 is not that old and I had issues even with it simply because it was made for Windows XP.
If it works on 7, it is almost guaranteed to work in 8, too!
