What is the best free software if possible to record my computer actions to make my own youtube videos.

I use Camtasia which is not free and have not really explored to much else so cannot recommend a good one.

Check out CamStudio, which is a free screen capturing program. I have never used it, but it seems popular, and it appears 100% free to me.

Thanks Guys

As always very helpful. I want to start making videos to help me remember what I have done in the past on projects I have been working on. I get side tracked on to other projects and by the time I get back on to the project I have forgotten my chain of thought.
