"Indie Game: The Movie" is on Netflix!

I had been looking forward to this documentary for obvious reasons lol
It follows the lives of a few sets of developers at different stages: The developer of Fez as he tries to finish things up and reignite the hype he had several years earlier before some issues caused many delays, the developers of Super Meat Boy as they submit the game to Microsoft to enter XBLA, Jonathan Blow a couple of years after the release and explosive success of Braid, and a few cameos from other developers.
What is striking about it is how well the documentary caught the passion and emotions of indie game development. Obviously I am not at the level of these guys, but it does give you that feeling that all it takes is that one moment to be right there at that spot. It is intense, emotional, and very realistic. And for any indie game dev, I can say it is very inspirational. It leaves you feeling like something great could be just around the corner if you are dedicated and put the work in. The Super Meat Boy team (2 guys) were on the verge of being completely broke when they released SMB, to the point where they could barely feed themselves and appeared like they were both about to fall over the edge.
But it is a great experience to watch it as an indie game dev, and I completely recommend it! I don't know how long it will be on Netflix, so if you have Netflix Instant, check it out!
